Welcome

Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University

Looking for something different? The Department of Psychiatry is the only academic psychiatry department in the nation that is part of two medical schools, DO and MD. We have approximately 530 students doing third-year psychiatry rotations, the largest such clerkship in the USA. We have research programs located in Africa dealing with chronic diseases like HIV and malaria. Please peruse our website and see who we are and what we do.

Watch an introduction by our Chairperson, Dr. Jed Magen
