Margaret Semrud-Clikeman, PhD |

Dr. Semrud-Clikeman graduated from the University of Georgia with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with specialties in neuropsychology and child psychopathology. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and received a training grant from NIMH to complete studies in neuroimaging in children with ADHD. She has published more than 50 articles and chapters and 3 books with 2 more under contract. Dr. Semrud-Clikeman has presented her work on imaging and interventions to national conferences as well as workshops for schools and hospitals. She received an award from the Orton Dyslexia Society for Outstanding Dissertation in 1990 and was awarded the Early Career Award from the National Academy of Neuropsychology. She has received funding from NIH for imaging studies with children with ADHD on and off stimulant medication. Current research interests include imaging studies of children with ADHD studying response to success and failure at tasks as well as an understanding of children with social competence disorders and their processing of social interactions. |
