Dr. Quinlan received his D.O. from Michigan State University.  He completed his osteopathic internship at Flint Osteopathic Hospital.  His general psychiatry residency, research fellowship, child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and an informatics fellowship were completed at the University of Michigan.  He is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Quinlan interests include mood disorders in children and adolescents.  He is a co-investigator on a study concerning the prevention of suicide in adolescents through the University of Michigan.
