As
the Associate Provost for Human Health Affairs, Dr. Hillard provides
leadership and support to Michigan State University’s College of Human
Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Osteopathic, as well as
oversight of the MSU HealthTeam and Olin Student Health center, working
collaboratively in support of new and existing initiatives and the
mission of excellence in education, healthcare, research, outreach, and
community service.
A
graduate of Stanford University, Dr. Hillard received his M.D. degree in
1977, and completed his internship in pediatrics/psychiatry and
psychiatry residency at Duke University Medical Center in 1981.
His subspecialties include emergency and forensic psychiatry.
He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and
Neurology (psychiatry), American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
(forensic psychiatry), and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
